Users can switch the encoding mode in the settings if they wish to utilize the H.265 technology.

The camera supports 24/7 video recording and storage, with options to save footage to the cloud (requires internet connection) or a locally-inserted SD card (up to 512GB, not included). However, please note that the SD card playback is limited to the Vimtag app and cannot be accessed through an NVR system.
